I said a prayer for you last night,
I asked the Lord to hold you tight.
And keep you from the daily harms,
Keep you in his loving arms.

“Lord, please bring peace into her life,
Don’t let her continue to suffer this strife.
Hold her hand, walk with her,
As she continues to live your word.

She tries so hard to do what’s right,
Others make it a constant fight.
So Lord, please hold her close, give her love,
Shine your light on her from above.

Lord, sometimes she feels, she’s all alone,
But what she feels, I too have known.
Please let her know, for her I’m here,
To help her cry and wipe her tears.

I ask these things not for myself,
But because she may not ask for herself.
Lord, please don’t let her feel to blame
I ask these things in your Holy name….

Amen”
