A BABY GIRL
You kissed my child’s head,
Then they handed her to me.
Oh what a beautiful site to see.
She’s the most beautiful gift,
So soft and so sweet,
I kiss her from head to feet.
She smells of sweet powder,
I hold her face to my cheek.
She’s so tiny, and so weak.
You trust me with this small life,
A greater gift I can not think of,
Than this beautiful tiny bundle of love.
