For Tootsie

I have a very special Mother-in-law,
You have to love her, if you know her at all.
She raised a wonderful family,
I’m so happy, her son chose me.

For not to know her would be a shame,
My life would never be the same.
She is a wonderful lady; it’s true,
I love her, and she loves me too.

She cared for her husband, until the end,
She is so loving; was his best friend.
Now she’d never boast or brag, that wouldn’t be right,
But when She walks in the room, it is filled with her light.

She thinks it’s not enough, these things She does,
But we, her family, know She’s full of love.
She goes above and beyond what she should do,
So Tootsie, we want to say, you’re our Hero…
